VBSLSC Digital Membership App Privacy Policy

We are committed to your privacy. This privacy policy sets out how we deal with personal information collected and used through the Venus Bay Digital Membership App (“the App”). By using the App you consent to the use and processing of your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.

Like most Apps, when you visit our App, there is certain information about your visit that we automatically track. The information is used for internal purposes to monitor activity on the App only.

3. How we use your information
The information captured by the App could include your name and address, email address, phone number and other data. The data is used to verify your Venus Bay SLSC membership status and to provide notifications of information and events.

Although we put technical and organisational security procedures in place to keep your information secure, you are advised to remember that the internet is not always a secure medium. We reserve the right to pass any or all of your personal information to the police or any other relevant body for the purposes of:

· for any purpose associated with your misuse, or suspected misuse, of the App or for fraud protection; or in relation to any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings.

We may pass your information to Lifesaving Victoria for the performance of any agreement we enter into or to help us fulfil any obligation we may have.
